What is Ghost Writing?

Ghost writer is a term that you have likely heard and seen before when other website owners are requesting articles on other websites. So, what does it mean to hire a ghost writer?

Ghost writer: (noun) A person who writes one or numerous speeches, books, articles, etc. for another person who is named as, or presumed to be, the author.

Typically what this means is that someone hires a writer to write something, then instead of giving the writer a byline for the article, they purchase the ‘full copyrights’ to the article which allows the buyer to use the article as they see fit, including attaching their name, or no name at all, to the article as the author.

Ghost writing is not illegal nor is it a bad practice – the fact is that some people can write and others can’t, and there’s nothing wrong with that. In order to make a name for yourself on the Internet, you must become an expert in your niche field, regardless of what that field is. The best way to establish yourself as an expert is with informative and factual articles on your website. If you aren’t a writer, this task can seem endless and difficult. Hiring ghost writers, like those of us here at Just Content, means that you can have all the articles you need for your website without having to sweat over each and every word. The vast majority of the content that you see on the Internet is ghost written by a freelance writer, in fact, chances are you have read some of our writers’ work on the Internet that was previously ghost written for other clients and/or writing services.

As writers, we know this to be a fact, and we are paid for our services, our writing skills and knowledge, and believe it or not, we really don’t mind at all.

Try out the ghost writing services here at Just Content and get on your way to establishing yourself as an expert in your niche field on the Internet. Drive traffic your way, increase your website stats and your search engine rankings by adding a few well written articles to your website.

Hi there, I’ve just submitted my first writing assignment, but it was tough going. I had to produce 5 400 articles in one day. Yes it probably sounds very mininal, but does it get easier? When it gets easier, I may try out your ghost writing service.
