If you are looking to write something keyworded, this checks related keywords on Keyword Tracker and Overture, giving you the number of times the keyword was searched, the number of pages on which the keyword appears, your competition and the number of pages per search. This really helps choose keywords for your articles.

Keyword Counting

There are a few ways to count keywords in your articles to ensure you have the right density – here are a few to help you out!

You can find words in your articles when you write them by using the “Find” feature in Word. Click on “Edit” then “Find” use “highlight all words in document” then press next. When they are all highlighted, click either BOLD or Highlight with color button so you can readily see them when you close the “find” pane.

It’s always a good idea to read through your articles before sending them to your editor or client. It helps to read them aloud to ensure that it sounds good. You can use a free text-to-speech editor to read it outloud for you as well.

Article checker

Here is a free article checker that I hope many of you will utilize. It’s always a good idea to check your articles yourself before submitting them. This works similarly to copyscape.
